Through Metro Waste Authorityβs Adopt A Stream program, you and a group of friends, family members, or co-workers can select a section of Beaver Creek to keep clean. Adopters commit to cleaning their area once per year, but you could clean it more if you wanted to!
Healthy streams, healthy communitiesTrash like bottles, plastic bags, and tires frequently end up in our rivers and streams through stormwater runoff, strong winds, and littering. No matter how small a piece of trash may seem, it can have a big impact on the health of our community when itβs not disposed of properly.
