The Johnston Public Library hosts Wee Read for children ages 18 months to three years of age at 10:15 a.m., 10:45 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.

Collegiate Athlete Recruiting Meeting
Johnston High School and NCSA Athletic Recruiting present "College Recruiting Simplified" at 7 p.m. in the school's auditorium. NCSA Educational Speaker, Dave Carl, will guide parents and student-athletes through the importance of establishing athletic and academic goals, setting realistic expectations and seeking opportunities at all college levels.

JHS Late Start
Johnston High School has a late start day. School starts at 8:30 a.m.

Senior Activities
The Johnston Senior Center at Crown Point Community Center hosts tennis at 9 a.m., exercise at 10 a.m., sewing from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and bridge at 11:30 a.m.
