Rain and snow are expected this afternoon, turning to just snow after 3 p.m. Temps are expected to fall near the freezing mark by 5 p.m. with wind gusts as high as 18 m.p.h. in some areas.

Tonight, snow and blowing snow is expected before midnight with more snow predicted late. Temperatures are expected to be in the low 20s overnight.
Total snow accumulation by Friday is expected to be between 2-4 inches.

Friday will be a blustery day with a high of 34, northwest winds and a 30 percent chance of picking up another half inch of snow.
If the forecast holds, the snow won't be around long. Right now the Weather Service is calling for a high of 49 on Sunday.
