Cops Called to Fight Between Mother, Daughter: Johnston Police Reports

5000 block of Northwest Beaver Drive for driving while barred.

Haso Muratovic, 6209 S.E. Fifth St., Des Moines, was arrested on an outstanding warrant in the 5400 block of Northwest 93rd St.

The owner of vehicle reported an unknown driver hit his vehicle and left. The incident happened while the vehicle was parked in a parking lot at 5935 Merle Hay Road.
June 5
Douglas Stephen Morrill, 43, 522 Lynnwood Lane, Apt. 2, Van Meter, was charged with driving while barred and cited for failure to obey a traffic control device. Morrill was involved in a car accident at the intersection of Northwest 57th Avenue and Merle Hay Road.

Officers were dispatched to the 6500 block of Northwest 56the Street to a dispute between a mother and a 17-year-old daughter. No injuries were reported and no charges were filed.
