Then you're a prime candidate for early voting for the upcoming general election.
Early Voting in Polk County begins Thursday at the Polk County Election Office, 120 Second Avenue, Suite A in Des Moines.

Early voting hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday though Friday.
Saturday voting will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 27 and Nov. 3.

Satellite early voting locations will be announced soon on the Polk County Auditors website.
The Auditor also reminds voters that most polling location have changed since the last general election.
