Bankers Trust has just released details for its highly popular Every Family Rocks! Des Moines Family Music Festival that benefits Employee & Family Resources. To be held February 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Science Center of Iowa, 401 West Martin Luther King Junior Parkway, Des Moines, Iowa, the 2013 Festival will feature performances by well-known artists Dan Zanes and Friends; Drum Safari; and Des Moines area youth musicians from Central Iowa Music Lab. Also performing is Des Moines Onstage, a children's theater group comprised of all student performers focusing on social awareness.
Every Family Rocks! benefits EFR, one of central Iowa’s premier human services organizations dedicated to strengthening families, workplaces and communities. EFR today serves thousands of Central Iowans annually.
Tickets to Every Family Rocks! are $12 in advance or $16 at the door – children age two and under are free – and are now available online at www.everyfamilyrocks.org. Information about the bands and the day’s schedule of events are also available at www.everyfamilyrocks.org.

Established in 2009, Every Family Rocks! offers families a unique, low-cost event featuring diverse musical talent and entertainment experiences, and raises funds to support the long-term sustainability of EFR’s services. EFR was created in 1964 as an affiliate of the National Council on Alcoholism and Other Drug Dependencies, and today provides its services to thousands of Iowans. EFR and its Every Family Rocks! Des Moines Family Music Festival is presented by Bankers Trust as part of the bank’s ongoing commitment to diversity and to the community.
