Frame Works is pleased to announce the art exhibition Hominini Requiem featuring works of art by Katelyn Ilene McBurney. The show will open at Frame Works, 5800 Merle Hay Road, Johnston, Iowa on Friday, April 5, 2013 and hang in the gallery until April 30, 2013. The work of Hominini Requiem is comprised of fantastical and absurdist pieces done in homage to our extinct bipeds, as well as in celebration of the special relationship between man and ape.
Katelyn Ilene McBurney is an artist and illustrator based out of Des Moines, IA.

Katelyn’s work is primarily created using mixed media on paper. This is her first exhibition in Des Moines and premier solo exhibition.
