Kids' Free Vision Screening

JOHNSTON
LIONS WILL PROVIDE VISION SCREENING FOR TODDLERS DURING GREEN
DAYS

Lions Club members
trained in screening for vision problems will be available at the Johnston
Library on Saturday, June 16th from noon til 2  p.m.  Children
between the ages of 6 months  and 48 months will be eligible for this FREE
screening.  Parents will sign a release form at the time of the screening.
Results of the screening are sent to the University of Iowa Opthamology
Department for diagnosis, and those results are sent directly to the
parents.
We hope many
families will take time out from the Green Day festivities to have their
child take  part in this free screening.

Each year, as part
the the Lions' Iowa Kid Sight, the Johnston Lions provide free screening
for over 200 children at pre-schools and day care centers in Johnston for vision
related problems. For questions, or additional information, please contact Judy
Anderson, 278-0939.
