A special Literary event with family book readings from Kumon's recommended reading list and Dr. Seuss classics, such as The Cat in the Hat, will be held at the Kumon Math & Reading Center of Johnston on Saturday, March 3rd from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. at 5800 Merle Hay Road, Johnston, IA.
Throughout the month of March, Kumon, the world’s largest after-school enrichment program, is partnering with Reading Is Fundamental (RIF), the nation’s largest children’s literacy organization dedicated to providing books and literacy resources to underserved children across the country.
RIF's vision is to motivate young children to read by working with them, their parents, and community members to make reading a fun and beneficial part of everyday life. At Kumon of Johnston, we share this vision and work every day to help foster a love of reading in all of our students.

Local families & educators are invited to attend the free event, which will feature refreshments & prizes!! Movie tickets to "Dr. Seuss' The Lorax" & "The Hunger Games" will be raffled along with a Grand Prize of a KINDLE TOUCH!
