Art Show Opening and Artist Reception

Frame Works is pleased to announce the photography exhibition Meandering in the Mediterranean featuring the photography of Victoria L. Herring. The show will open at Frame Works, 5800 Merle Hay Road, Johnston, Iowa on Friday, February 1, 2013 and hang in the gallery until February 28, 2013.  Please join us for the opening reception 5:00pm to 7:00pm and meet Victoria.

Victoria L. Herring is a civil rights and discrimination lawyer.  In that career, Victoria has always tried to be creative to benefit her clients. That same creative urge is behind her photography.

Victoria has been fortunate and traveled to many countries and tried to record images of life in each place. She wants to share how people work and play or capture the abstract images or scenery of a place. Victoria is fascinated with architecture, patterns, line and color, vistas and landscapes, and tries to see and capture something beyond a typical picture of them.

Meandering in the Mediterranean - will feature “images that will transport you” to places throughout the Mediterranean.
