Johnston Lions Club will have FREE vision screening for children ages 6 months to 48 months at the Johnston Library. Parents will sign a consent form there, and results of the screening will be sent to the University of Iowa Opthamology Department for diagnosis. Parents wll be notified of any further action/recommendation by the University. A special camera takes a picture of the child's eyes and can detect vision problems early in early stages. It only takes minutes and can enhance a child's life.
