Everyday Math Open House, Iowa National Guard Charity Garage Sale - And More In Johnston

Charity Garage Sale
The third annual Iowa National Guard Officers Auxiliary Charity Garage Sale kicks off today at the Building, 6401 Merle Hay Road. Stop by from 4 to 8 p.m. All proceeds will go to the Iowa National Guard Officers Auxiliary and will be used for the benefit of Iowa National Guard members and their families.

Every Math Open House
The beings a new math curriculum for pre-kindergarten to fifth grade this fall. Parents and their children are invited to attend an informal, optional open house from 1 to 3 p.m. in the 's East meeting room. Jyll Johnson-Miner, district math and science coordinator, will demonstrate sample materials and answer questions. Light snacks will be provided. 

Senior Activities
The Johnston Senior Center at Crown Point Community Center hosts tennis at 9 a.m., scrapbooking from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and bingo at 12:30 p.m.
