Fundraiser Tonight For Johnston Public Library -- And More Around Town

Friends of JPL Fundraiser
The Friends of the are hosting a Silpada Party in the library archive room from 4 to 8 p.m. All proceeds will provide support for summer library programming.

Lane Closures
Storm Sewer construction along Northwest 62nd Avenue will create lane restrictions beginning today through Friday, March 30. Traffic will be allowed during construction but will have lane and travel restrictions that may effect commutes. The construction encompasses Northwest 62nd Avenue from Northwest 86th Street to Pioneer Parkway.

Need a Tux for Prom? Help After Prom at the same time!
The Bridal Boutique, 412 E. Sixth St., Des Moines, will donate $25 to the Johnston After Prom for any tux rental between now and the April 14 prom. Bridal Boutique is open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
