Wrestling
The Johnston Dragons team heads to Southeast Polk for an invitational this afternoon.
The invitational includes 17 schools. The meet begins at 3:30 p.m.
Basketball
The varsity basketball teams head to Indianola tonight. The girls hit the court at 6:15 p.m., followed by the boys at 7:45 p.m.
Senior Center
The Johnston Senior Center at will celebrate Super Bowl Friday this afternoon. Stop by for the fun and Bingo at 12:30 p.m.
Traveling Exhibit
The "Unconditional Loyalty: The Military Service of African Americans" traveling museum exhibit will be at the until Feb. 18.
The exhibit from the African American Museum in Cedar Rapids showcases Iowa's African American military heroes and heroines from the Revolutionary War to today. Special emphasis is on the 60th U.S. Colored Troops, the Buffalo Soldiers, women in the military, Iowa's World War I training camps at Camp Dodge and Fort Des Moines, and the Tuskagee Airmen.
Museum hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
