New House District 39
Iowa House District 39 is located in western Polk County.

The new district includes Johnston, Grimes and a portion of rural Polk County west of Saylorville Lake.

The area is currently the 69th District, a post held by Helland.

All of Iowa's legislative districts were redrawn and renumbered las yea to account for the 2010 census population shifts.
