Having A Holiday Party? Johnston Has Plenty Of Options

The holidays are a time for celebration, whether with your families, friends or co-workers.

Johnston offers a number opportunities for holiday celebrations at local restaurants and rental facilities.

Mojos on 86th offers a number of rooms to fit every size party, said Anthony Johnson, executive chef.

"We have a small, fully private room, that's called the wine room, it fits 10 to 12 people," he said. "Then the restaurant is set up into different sections, so we can do the back half of the restaurant or the bar area, which fits 20 to 30 people."

For large parties, Mojos caters for the Foxboro Business Center, which can hold up to 350 people.

"It's a case-by-case basis," Johnson said on rental fees or minimum purchases required. "Depending on the day of the week we have minimums, or if you want to buy out the whole restaurant. We're willing to work and help accommodate parties."

Johnson said the restaurant is used for several parties with businesses like and in town.

"We can work with whoever," he said. "We do full off-site catering, we can come to your home or business. And we can accommodate any need, we can create specific menus if you're looking for something."

Greenbriar takes reservations for any size group.

Deanne Plew, operations manager, said the restaurant has two rooms for private functions.

"One can accommodate up to 45 people and the other room up to 80 people," she said. "There is no sales minimum except in December, we ask for a deposit of $100, that's applied to the bill or returned if canceled 30 days prior."

Reservations can be made at any time for smaller, non-private room parties.

"We are typically busy with holiday parties," she said. "But we still have availability."

The restaurant can also cater off-site events. The menu is available online.

"We can do sit-down service, buffets or appetizers," Plew said. "Even if there are items that someone likes that is not listed on our menu, we can do it. We have a very talented chef."
