Basketball
The Johnston boys head to Ames tonight. The ninth-grade team plays at 4:45 p.m., followed by the 10th-grade team at 6:15 p.m. and the varsity at 7:45 p.m.

Jazz Festival
The Johnston High School Jazz bank takes off for the Tallcorn Jazz Festival at the University of Northern Iowa.

Alcoholics Anonymous
St. Paul's Presbyterian church hosts an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m.

State Wrestling
Today is the second day of the Iowa High School State Wrestling Tournament. Two Johnston wrestlers, Jake Scanlon and Joe Scanlon, still remain in action at Wells Fargo Arena.
