Hy-Vee Theft Results In Drug Charges: Johnston Police Blotter

The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls May 31. Take a look at the reports.

A trip to the grocery store turned into a trip to jail for one man.Β 

On May 28, Johnston police were called to the , 5750 Merle Hay Road in repsonse to a possible theft.

Robert Boudreau, 48, was arrested at the store for allegedly stealing $65 worth of items.

When Boudreau was brought to jail, jailers found cocaine on his person.

May 31
Lansink Construction, 6240 N.W. Beaver Drive, reported a theft of extension cords. The theft was valued at $2,000. The company believes the person who stole the items is a previous employee.

May 30
A 39-year-old woman reported money was taken from her wallet that was in her vehicle and parked in the garage. She believes a friend of her daughter took the money.

May 29
A 17-year-old man was charged with driving while suspended and harassment of a public official in the 5300 block of Merle Hay Road.

A 39-year-old man reported unauthorized purchases on two of his debit cards.

May 28
Lindsey Cohen, 22, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 6200 block of Merle Hay Drive.

Officers were called to a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend.
