students in ninth to 12th grade will take part in District History Day at the State of Iowa Historical Building.

Loving Hands Knitting/Sewing/Quilting
hosts the knitting, sewing and quilting group session starting at 7 p.m.

Storm Spotter Seminar
The Polk County Emergency Management along with the National Weather Service will be hosting a severe weather spotter seminar starting at 7 p.m.
The seminar, held at the Polk Country Emergency Operations Center, 1907 Carpenter Ave. Des Moines, is free and open to the public. For more information visit here.
