Jethro's BBQ is Coming to Johnston
The restaurant will mark the fifth Jethro's in the Des Moines metro. Groundbreaking is expected to occur next month.
Get excited, Johnston. Jethro is coming to town.
According to KCCI Channel 8, Jethro's BBQ n' Pork Chop Grill will be located at 5950 86th St. in Johnston.
Owner Bruce Gerleman told KCCI the restaurant will feature Iowa pork chops, fire grilled over oak and hickory wood.
The restaurant will join existing Jethro's locations in Waukee, Altoona, Ankeny and Des Moines.
A groundbreaking ceremony is being planned for mid-July. An opening date is expected in December.
