Johnston Boys' State Soccer Berth Ends in Heartbreak
The Dragons took on Iowa City West in the Class 3A final.
The first appearance at the Boys' State Soccer Tournament turned out of to be more than the could handle Saturday.
The Dragons held on until the 51st minute against Iowa City West in the Class 3A State Soccer Championship.
It was a re-match of sorts for the two teams as they played in the third place game last year. West won that game 1-0 also.
