The Children's Miracle Network was chosen this year after Tuel talked with Eric Peterson at Nationwide and with Ciera Lundgren, a 2012 Miss Iowa hopeful and Farrell's member. Lundgren's cause for the pageant is the charity.
This year, 86 people joined the challenge at Farrell's, where they come every day to receive points toward an end-of-challenge grand prize.
Throughout the challenge, Tuel has offered inspiration and tips on the Farrell's Facebook page.
But it's been a team effort between the businesses.
On April 28, Rich's Brew, 5800 Merle Hay Road, donated a portion of its proceeds to the challenge.
Farrell's will host a car wash Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the studio's parking lot.
The wash is donation-based and will feature volunteers from Drake University.
Okoboji Grill will also donate 10 percent of Saturday proceeds to the challenge.
So do you have plans Saturday? Well, you do now!
