Johnston Council to Hear Request for Ice Cream Truck

The Johnston City Council Meets at 7 p.m. at City Hall.

With spring just around the corner — and summer temperatures already here — ice cream is on the minds of Johnston City Council members.

The council will hear from Angela Miller with Sack's Great Days Ice Cream and Novelties at Monday's council meeting.

Miller will request permission to operate an ice cream truck in Johnston.

According to the Sacks Great Days Ice Cream Facebook Page, the company is based in Ankeny and offers ice cream for no more than $2.
