The first round of the state football playoffs kick off tonight with a rematch against the Urbandale J-Hawks.

Johnston (4-5) lost to Urbandale (5-4) 31-10 on Sept. 16. The team finished 1-4 in the Central Iowa Metro League Central Division. Urbandale tallied the same conference record, 1-4.
The Dragons finished the regular season on a sour note, falling 46-0 to the Southeast Polk Rams on Oct. 21.

The winner of tonight's game will take on the winner of the West Des Moines Valley vs. Ottumwa game on Oct. 31.
Tonight's game kicks off at 7 p.m. at Frerichs Field in Urbandale.
