Johnston Event Honoring Teachers Seeks Donors, Sponsors

Each year the recognizes the commitment teachers make in the .

The annual Educator Appreciation Event will take place on May 2 at the Camp Dodge Freedom Center.

The event, which draws nearly 750 educators and staff, is a time for teachers and staff to relax in a non-school atmosphere with others.

Retiring teachers are also honored at the event with an apple award.

The organizing committee is seeking donations and sponsorships to make this year's event a success.

Three levels of sponsorship are available for donations of $300 to $500. Prize donations are also welcomed.
