Johnston Hy-Vee Dragon Days Raised How Much For Johnston Schools?
The second annual Johnston Hy-Vee Dragon Days was a success.

Last month the showed their true spirit.
The Second Annual Johnston Hy-Vee Dragon Days raised $2,427.14 from April 23 to April 29.
The event, a large fundraising initiative, supports all Johnston Schools.
Efforts included letting customers round their grocery order up to the nearest dollar, or $5 or more and donate that money to the Johnston school of their choice. The store also sold numerous products with a portion of the proceeds donated to the various Johnston schools.

Johnston High School won an additional $1,000 for being the top fundraising school for the week, which brings their total to $1,496.53.
In 2011, Hy-Vee Johnston raised $2,294.98 for the schools. Wallace Elementary raised the most money and was awarded an additional $1,000 for a total of $3,294.98 given away to Johnston schools.
