Johnston Library Photo Exhibit Remembers Fallen - And More Around Town

'Remembering Our Fallen' Open House
The will display  a tribute to all those who have died as a result of wounds suffered in a war zone since Sept. 11, 2001. The open house, which runs from 6 to 8 p.m. features guest speaker Michael Vogt at 6:30 p.m. The display will run until June 4.

The Nadas
The Nadas help kick off the Johnston Public Library summer program with a concert featuring their new children's CD Bright Eyed & Bushy Tailed. Enjoy the tunes from 1 to 2 p.m.

JHS baseball
The baseball team takes on West Des Moines Valley tonight. The junior varsity game begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by the varsity at 7:30 p.m., both at the high school.

Senior Center
The Johnston Senior Center at hosts tennis at 10 a.m., bridge at 11:30 a.m. and games starting at 1 p.m.
