Twenty-two students placed in the top ten in the National French Exam.

Twenty-two students excelled on the rigorous National French Exam this year.
The National French Exam is sponsored each year by the American Association of Teachers of French, and is called Le Grand Concours.Β By taking this rigorous exam, students have the chance to see how they compare to a national and state standard.Β

This year, all French I and French II student at JMS took the exam in mid March.
Five French II students and 17 French I students finished in the top ten.

The exam ranks are the highest scores on the test, so it is possible multiple students scored the same on the test are received the same ranking.
In Iowa,Β 312 French II students took the exam and 205 French I students took the exam this year.
