Several businesses and offices are taking time to celebrate President's Day today.

Johnston city offices are closed in observance of the holiday. The Johnston City Council will meet on Tuesday for a regular meeting.

The Johnston Public Library closes today and reopens on Tuesday.

Students in the Johnston Community School District have the day off, while teachers have a professional development day.

The Johnston Senior Center at Crown Point Community Center is also closed today.
