Johnston Police Blotter: Child Custody Disputes, Criminal Mischief

Jan. 4
Officers were dispatched to the 8800 block of Chambery Boulevard for a child custody dispute.
The property manager of Chapel Ridge Townhomes reported someone had broken into one of the townhouses after the locks had been changed.
A 27-year-old man reported fraudulent charges on a credit card that was lost some time ago.
Jan. 3
Brandon Sayles, 33, charged with disorderly conduct and trespassing at Chapel Ridge Apartments.
Jan. 2
A 19-year-old man reported that a package was stolen from his front porch in the 9900 block of Cheshire Lane after it was delivered by a courier company.
Residents in the 6800 block of Northglen Way and Morningside Circle reported criminal mischief to their vehicles. One vehicle had been struck with eggs and another pelted with eggs then covered in flour.
A 14-year-old girl reported being bitten by a dog in the 6200 block of Northwest 97th Street.
Jan. 1
Scott Dougherty, 43, was arrested for public intoxication and trespassing at the Boat House.
Officers responded to a child custody dispute in the 6200 block of Northwest Beaver Drive.
Dec. 29
Officers responded to a call of suspicious activity in the 10000 block of Essex Drive. The suspects then led police on a chase, ending with a crash. Alon Rene Meisters, 31, and Brian Smith, 38, were charged with a number of crimes. For a full report see .
Officers responded to a child custody dispute in the 10100 block of Catalina Drive.
Dec. 27
Bryan Staub, 51, was charged with operating while intoxicated and cited for speeding in the 7000 block of Northwest 62nd Avenue.
Dec. 26
A 39-year-old man reported that the back window of this vehicle was smashed out in the 6100 block of Chapel Ridge Way.
