Johnston Police Blotter: Theft, Drug Arrests, Assaults Among the Reports
The Johnston Police Department responded to a number of calls between Oct. 14 and Oct. 19, including OWI charges and thefts.

Oct. 19
A 63-year-old man reported a dark vehicle hit his mailbox and left the scene in the 6100 block of Nottingham Drive.
Oct. 18
A 36-year-old woman reported someone tried to enter her residence by prying the front door and rear locks in the 6200 block of Clark Lane. Entry was not made.
Oct. 17
A 42-year-old woman reported a man she met online was asking her to send money to him in the 6200 block of Merle Hay Road.
A 49-year-old man reported an egress window was broken out at his residence in the 4800 block of Rose Circle. Damage estimated between $200 and $500.
A 75-year-old woman reported that her vehicle was broken into in her driveway in the 5900 block of Northwest 61st Avenue.
A 35-year-old man reported a fraudulent charge to his credit card in the 6600 block of Gables Way.
A 13-year-old juvenile reported the theft of his iPod Touch while at football practice.
Oct. 16
Tan Tran, 34, was charged with operating while intoxicated in the area of Northwest 54th Avenue and Northwest 86th Street.
Adam Stauner, 28, was charged with domestic assault with injury by use of body and display of dangerous weapon by motor vehicle in the 6100 block of Northwest 86th Street. Victim reported that offender attempted to hit her with his vehicle.
Mary Hayes was charged with allowing her dog to run at large in the 8600 block of Northwest 53rd Place.
Oct. 15
A couple reported they were being harassed by an ex-employee in the 5400 block of Northwest 86th Street.

Officers took a report that a 16-year-old girle was slapped by her stepmother in the 5900 block of Northwest 97th Street.
Oct. 14
Kappi Jo Danielson, 22, was charged with operating while intoxicated, possession of a schedule II narcotic, hydrocodone and open container in the 5800 block of Northglenn Drive.
Logan Cropp, 18, was charged with possession of marijuana in the 8100 block of Northwest 62nd Avenue.
