Johnston Police Blotter: Several Calls of Fighting at Johnston Middle School

The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls from Feb. 9 to Feb. 14. Take a look at the reports.

Feb. 14
A 53-year-old woman reported a package was stolen from her porch in the 5200 block of Northwest 60th Avenue.

An employee of W's Lounge, 8805 Chambery Blvd., reported a woman ran a tab for more than $140 and failed to pay.

Feb. 13
A 27-year-old man reported his trash can was taken from his driveway in the 5300 block of Northwest 57th Avenue.

A 13-year-old girl reported her cell phone was stolen from the locker room at Johnston Middle School.

An employee of Chapel Ridge Apartments reported someone kicked in the door of their maintenance shed. At the time of the report, nothing was stolen.

Feb. 12
A 24-year-old woman reported her diamond ring, valued at $2,500, was stolen from her home in the 6600 block of Northwest 51st Street.

Feb. 11
Officers responded to a call about an argument between parents and their adult daughter in the 6800 block of Northwest Trail Ridge Drive.

Officers responded to Youth Homes of Mid America on an out-of-control male juvenile.

A 42-year-old woman reported being harassed by her ex-husband.

Feb. 10
A Johnston Middle School staff member requested a male student be warned for trespassing on the property.

A male juvenile at Johnston Middle School was charged with the theft of a wallet. The contents were later recovered.

A male juvenile was charged with disorderly conduct for fighting at Johnston Middle School. The parents of the victim did not want to pursue assault charges.

Officers took a report of a male juvenile hitting another male juvenile. No charges were filed.

An employee atΒ La James reported that a former student's husband came into their business and threatened staff.

Feb. 9
Officers responded to a dispute between two male subjects at a residence in the 6800 block of Gables Way.
