The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls from March 3 to March 6. Take a look at the reports.

Charges Filed in Underage Drinking Cases

The Johnston Police Department cited several people for giving alcohol to minors or drinking alcohol under the legal age in separate cases in the last week.

Then on March 3, Kylee Johnson, 18, was charged with driving while intoxicated and possession of alcohol by a minor in the 6100 block of Gables Way.

Officers responded to a call March 2 of a possible underage drinking party in the 4700 block of Northwest 62nd Avenue.Β Lisa Stagg, 24, was charged with providing alcohol to minors, while James Leverich, 19, David Stagg, 19 and a 15-year-old juvenile were charged with underage drinking.

Also, a 23-year-old man is under investigation for allegedly providing alcohol to minors on March 5.

Police believe a female juvenile was reportedly given alcohol by the male acquaintance.Β The girl may also be responsible for hitting a fire hydrant with her vehicle, authorities said.

No charges have yet been filed in that case.

March 6
Employees at Johnston Middle School requested a male juvenile, who was no longer a student, be charged with trespassing on school property.

Amanda Little, 27, was cited for disorderly conduct after hitting a 20-year-old woman's vehicle in the 6100 block of Northwest 78th Avenue.

Davis Equipment Corporation reported two mowers had been stolen out of their building. Estimated value is $12,500.

March 5
Jesus Garcia, 64, was charged with driving while barred, no insurance and no display of registration plates in the area of I-35 and Merle Hay Road.

A 43-year-old woman reported being harassed by a 60-year-old customer at her place of business. The business requested the man be charged with trespassing.

March 4
Officers responded to a report of criminal mischief in the 5400 block of Northwest 57th Avenue. One resident's mailbox was destroyed, while another resident had a plastic globe light broken off a concrete pillar.

Officers responded to a residence in the 5800 block of Northwest 66th Avenue on a reported domestic assault between a boyfriend and girlfriend. The male suspect left the residence and the victim and witnesses refused to cooperate.

March 3
Benjamin Currie, 18, was charged with with public intoxication in the parking lot of Wynnsong Theaters.
