Mojos on 86th closed after seven years of serving Johnston and metro residents on Saturday, according to a Facebook post by the restaurant.

A call to the restaurant was not immediately returned.

Monday's Facebook post about the closing quickly received several comments from diners.

"DISLIKE…so sorry to hear this!" Rebekka Hoddenbagh posted.

"This is sad! Although we didn't go there as often as we had liked, we never had a bad meal or service. Good luck in future endeavors!" Ellen Arnold Burford posted.

Mojos partnered with local farms and businesses to create a fresh spin on favorites.

The restaurant, which is locally owned, featured more than 30 local farmers and producers on their menus.

Mojos Facebook page, which had more than 300 likes, often featured previews of upcoming specials and unique menu items.
