Johnston Public Works employees reported graffiti damage to a bike trail sign near Northwest Beaver Drive and Merle Hay Road. Damage was estimated at $100.

A 32-year-old Johnston man was take  to a local hospital because ofpublic intoxication. He was found in the 5100 block of of Merle Hay Road.

Aug. 9

James Abijah Lincoln, 23, of 2050 Windover Drive, Ankeny, was cited for operating a motor vehicle while his license under suspension and speeding in the 5400 block of Johnston Drive.
