JOHNSTON -- The Johnston football team couldn't contain the high-powered offense of Ankeny on Friday night, dropping a 31-6 decision.

The Dragons got on the board in the second half, scoring on a pass play from junior quarterback Michael Kinning to receiver Zach Boals, but the extra point was blocked by Ankeny.

Johnston will finish its regular season next week at Southeast Polk.
