Johnston Council to Discuss Changes to Urban Bow-Hunting Rules, Redevelopment Plan for Merle Hay Road

The Johnston City Council meets for a work session at 6 p.m., followed by a regular meeting at 7 p.m.

The Johnston City Council discusses possible changes to the urban bow hunt and the process for approving deer hunting on private property at a work session tonight.

  • discuss initiating a redevelopment plan for the Merle Hay Road gateway area
  • discuss development of a homeowner grant program, funded by the stormwater utility to encourage and help pay for the installation of stormwater best practices
  • discuss a potential multi-family residential development within Windsor Park Subdivision

The work session will be immediately followed by a regular meeting.

The regular meeting includes a public hearing to adopt plans, specifications regarding the public safety building.
