Johnston Urbandale Soccer Club Players to Be Honored Between Friday's Varsity Games

The Johnston Urbandale Soccer Club players will be honored in a parade at the field between Friday's girls' and boys' varsity matchups of Johnston and Urbandale High Schools. Stop by our table and chat with Patch editors, too.

There's a unique parade taking place Friday night.

The Johnston Urbandale Soccer Club hosts its annual Club Night during the Johnston vs. Urbandale High School varsity girls' and boys' soccer games.

Any player wearing club uniforms or apparel from Urbandale Soccer Club, Johnston Soccer Club or Johnston Urbandale Soccer Club receives free admission to the game.

The event will once again recognize all coaches and players during intermission between the two games.

"We think this is a great way for the kids to watch a higher level of soccer, generate more interest in the sport and to also thank you, as coaches and players, for the continued support of our programs," a JUSC news release said.

More than 30 Johnston Urbandale Soccer Club Select players will showcase their talent during both games.

Editors fromΒ Johnston Patch and Urbandale Patch will be on hand with a table of goodies β€” and a chance to win $50 β€” at the main gate of the Urbandale field beginning at 5 p.m.
