Juveniles Charged with Firework Possession: Johnston Police Blotter
The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls Aug. 12. Take a look at the reports.

Aug. 10
Officers responded to the 6800 block of River Bend Drive for a call of kids shooting off guns. When officers arrived four juveniles were charged with possession of fireworks and tobacco. The juveniles did not have guns.
Aug. 12
Amanda Chinchilla, 24, was charged with operating while intoxicated and speeding in the area of Merle Hay Road and Winwood Drive.
A 53-year-old woman reported her juvenile daughter punched her then ran away. Officers were later able to located the daughter and she was returned home and left with her mother at the mother's request.
