Late Night Drive Results in Drug, Alcohol Charges for Teen: Johnston Police Blotter

The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls May 12 and May 13. Take a look at the reports.

A late night drive for a 16-year-old boy resulted in several charges on May 12 in the 5000 block of Johnston Drive.

A traffic stop led to charges for a 16-year-old driver for possession of schedule 1 drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and consumption of alcohol by a minor.

He was also cited for speeding, minor in possession of tobacco and violation of conditions of minors on school license.

A 15-year-old female passenger was charged with consumption of alcohol by a minor.

May 13
Residents in the 9400 block of Elm Lane reported an attempted burglary when they noticed a window screen had been bent back and another window had been broken.

A 29-year-old man reported receiving harassing phone calls.
