Lawson Students Hit the Path for Health, Wellness
Students at Lawson Elementary participated in the Healthiest State Walk today.
Schools, businesses and individuals stepped out today to participate in the Healthiest State Walk.
Students at Lawson Elementary grabbed their buddies and hit the path for the one kilometer walk.
The path was decorated with signs promoting healthy living and activities made by physical education teacher Steve Daugherty.

Fifth-grade students Nasanziman Regina and Mason LeRoux enjoyed their walk with second grade buddies.
"It was fun," Nasanziman said. "I could have walked longer."

Mason said it's good to be active so that you aren't lazy.
"I play soccer and basketball," he said. "It's better to walk than not do anything at all."
