Meet A Harlem Globetrotter Tonight - and More Johntson Events for Thursday
There are several fun event around town today. What do you have planned?

Harlem Globetrotter at Dalh's
Stop by the store and meet Harlem Globetrotter Anthony 'Buckets" Blakes. Blakes will be on hand signing autographs and taking pictures from 6 to 7 p.m. Star 102.5 radio will be on location from 5 to 7 p.m. to give away one family four-pack of VIP tickets to the April 1 Harlem Globetrotter game at Wells Fargo Arena at 2 p.m.
Beer Tasting
The hosts the March Beer Tasting from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The store will be featuring beers from the Schell portfolio and an opportunity to win a Schell firepit. Cost is $7.50 per person or $5 for Beer Club members. RSVP to 334-9463 or agraham@winestyles.net.
Chamber Luncheon
The presents the March luncheon at 11:30 a.m. at Hilton Garden Inn, 8600 Northpark Drive. The luncheon features the State of the City address by Mayor Paula Dierenfeld, superintendent Clay Guthmiller and Johnston Economic Development Corporation director Phil Dunshee. The cost is $25 at the door.
Lane Closures
Storm Sewer construction along Northwest 62nd Avenue will create lane restrictions beginning today through Friday, March 30. Traffic will be allowed during construction but will have lane and travel restrictions that may effect commutes. The construction encompasses Northwest 62nd Avenue from Northwest 86th Street to Pioneer Parkway.
