Never Say Can't Baseball Showcase

http://neversaycantfoundation.com

The Never Say Can’t Baseball Showcase is THE opportunity for younger high school players to receive feedback from collegiate level baseball coaches on their baseball skills.  High School Freshmen and Sophomores (as of the current 2012-2013 school year) will spend a half day displaying their hitting, throwing and running skills for high school and college baseball coaches.

In addition to the baseball showcase, a fun day is planned for the entire family. A Picnic and Silent Auction will be held between the baseball showcase morning and afternoon sessions.  A full lunch, including drinks and dessert will be available, and everyone will be able to bid on donated items including some desirable sports memorabilia.

The Never Say Can’t Foundation was established in memory of Spenser Nelson, a talented Johnston High School baseball player with enormous passion for the game who passed away in 2012.  It is hoped the baseball showcase will bring an opportunity to other young athletes to further their desire to play baseball at the next level if they so choose.
