NFL, Iowa National Guard Host Free High School Football Program at Camp Dodge
The High School Player Development program is free to high school students in ninth to 12th grades.

The free two-day camp aims to help high school players improve their play on the field and learn off-field character skills necessary to become college student-athletes.
The program is for high school freshmen to seniors. Lodging and food will be provided.

Enrollment is limited to the first 150 applicants.
The program is staffed by high school coaches and members of the Iowa Barnstormers.
The program runs from 1:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 20 and 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 21 at .
The program emphasizes safety and concussion awareness, character development and life skills, and football fundamentals.
It is the NFL’s mission to provide HSPD participants a program that focuses on inspiring excellence in the classroom, community, and on the playing field.
