Obscene Photos, Dog Bite: Johnston Police Blotter

The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls May 9. Take a look at the reports.

May 9
A 66-year-old man reported being bitten by his neighbor's dog. The man told officers the dog "escaped" out the front door when it was opened and went into his yard and bit him.

May 8
A 10-year-old girl received obscene pictures on her iPod through the KIK application. This application is for kids and allows users to send photos and comments. Pictures appeared to be from an adult male.

A 65-year-old man reported his cell phone was stolen from his unlocked vehicle that was parked in a driveway at 9305 Catalina Circle. The victim believes someone staying at the residence took the phone.

May 7
A 31-year-old man reported receiving a threatening phone call from a man. The caller was contacted by police and told to have no further contact with the victim.
