OWI, Vandalism to Landscaping: Johnston Police Blotter

The Johnston Police Department investigated a number of calls Oct. 12. Take a look at the reports.

Oct. 12
Carolyn Avila, 24, was charged with operating while intoxicated, interference with official acts and given several traffic citations. Her passenger, Kyle Bradish, 25, was charged with open container and interference with official acts. The stop took place in the area of Northwest 86th Street and Prairie Ridge Drive.

A 57-year-old woman reported someone made unauthorized online purchases on her debit card in the amount of $763.94.

Chapel Ridge Apartments reported damage to their landscaping lights in the amount of about $70. It is believed the damage was caused by juveniles who live at the apartments.
