Owner Charged After Girl Bitten by Dog: Johnston Police Reports

May 11

Police responded to a dog bite call in the 4500 block of Northwest 62nd Avenue. The parents of an 8-year-old victim reported a dog had broken his chain and bitten the girl. The owner of the dog was charged with dog running at large.

May 12

Deanna Lynn Butterfield, 65, of 10071 N.W. Beaver Drive, Johnston, was charged with driving while her license is revoked.

A man reported that his wallet was either lost or stolen while he was at Wynnsong Theaters, 5233 Stoney Creek Court, and someone had made a fraudulent charge on his credit card.

May 13

Issac Lawrence Wood, 27, of 6824 Gables Way, Johnston, was charged with driving while barred.
