PHOTOS: First Bank Grills Out For Customer Appreciation

The weather might not be idea for a cookout, but that didn't stop on Friday.

The bank from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Kristi Tripp, office manager at the bank, said they try to hold customer appreciation events each quarter.

"Over time we've found nice ways to reach customers," she said. "We have a grill out each year for the Iowa vs. Iowa State football game."

Leon Sanderson, of Urbandale, was enjoying his lunch around noon. 

"It's working up to be pretty good," he said of the hot dog.
