Pioneer Parkway Closure Begins - And More Around Johnston Today

Register for Star Wars Party   
The invites children ages six to 11 to register for the upcoming Star Wars Party. Join the library for all things Star Wars - games, refreshments and more at 1 p.m. on July 6.

Pioneer Parkway Closure
Pioneer Parkway will be closed today though mid-August. The road closure, which begins at 9 a.m., is for through traffic starting at North Drive to Northwest 62nd Avenue.

Softball
The Johnston girls junior varsity and varsity softball teams take on Boone at tonight. The jv takes the field at 6 p.m. and the varsity starts at 7:30 p.m.

Baseball
The varsity baseball teams takes part in a tournament at Saydel High School at 2:30 p.m.
