Police Investigate Underage Drinking Party: Johnston Police Reports

June 25

Police are investigating a possible underage drinking party in the apartments at 6035 Westfalen Court. Two 17-year-olds, three 20-year-olds, and two 19-year-olds were reportedly drinking. The police report says a 21-year-old may have provided alcohol to the underage people there. Charges have not yet been filed.

June 28

A resident in the 5600 block of Northwest 100TH Street reported his vehicle was stolen from a parking lot, likely by a man he knows. The victim called several hours later to report the vehicle was being returned and he did not wish to pursue charges.

A driver reported someone had damaged his vehicle while it was parked at Quik Trip, 5169 Merle Hay Road.

June 30

Rudy Nathan Fors, 31, of 4906 N.W. Second Court, Ankeny, was charged with public intoxication after officers were sent to the 6800 block of Jules Vern Court on a report of a suspicious vehicle with a man laying in the grass nearby.
